Renders run on your Mac, so exports cost us nothing — and we don't charge you for them. The AI work has a generous monthly allowance, printed right here instead of hidden in a fair-use clause.
Free while we're in beta — these are the prices when billing turns on. When it does, your allowance meter will live right in the app, so you'll always know where you stand.
Yes, and it isn't a marketing promise — it's how the product is built. Rendering happens on your Mac, so an export costs us nothing. Render the same video forty times if it takes forty times to get it right. We think charging per export punishes iteration, which is the opposite of what a good video needs.
Nothing breaks and nothing stops. You keep recording, editing, and exporting — those are unlimited. For more narration or transcription that month, Dan offers a top-up rather than a wall. The allowance is printed on this page on purpose: if you ever have to think about it before making an ordinary video, we got the numbers wrong.
They stay on your Mac until you review and choose to process them. And Dan doesn't capture what you type, full stop — the recorder logs clicks, scrolls, and app switches, never keystrokes.
Yes. Beta invitees become founding members at $19 a seat, locked for as long as you keep it — no “introductory rate” that quietly expires. We'll give plenty of notice before anything is charged.
macOS only for now — the element-aware capture is built on macOS accessibility APIs. Tell us where you need it next.
